5 Startup Events to Watch at Austin Startup Week

by Larry Chiang on October 9, 2013

Austin, Texas leverages its live music scene with a week-long showcase of startups. It kicks off the week with a battle of bands. The week is book-ended by two weekends of Austin City Limits music festival. This is the first year the festival has gone to a split weekend style, pattern replicating the two weekend format of Coachella in Palm Springs. Think of this week like a SXSW, but without having to purchase a badge. You do not have to be in attendance to learn and network with participants. Follow the action via the hashtags #ASW13 and #LCEEEF amongst many other sub hashtags.
