Larry Chiang graduated college with a really, really high credit score and so did Matt Smith. Together, they leveraged their augmented FICO credit score, to self-fund their RESPECTIVE small businesses. Matt Smith is a non-employee cofounder of Duck9. Chiang now teaches creative founder financing and street smart legal at his Stanford Engineering inspired YouTube page. His channel on ‘technology entrepreneurship’ has as a basecamp, Stanford engineering, “Engineering 145”. It was also the theme of his Bloomberg BusinessWeek column, “What They Don’t Teach You at Business School”. Chiang preaches street smarts. After Chiang’s Harvard Law keynote, Harvard Business wrote: “What They Don’t Teach You at Stanford Business School“ (it’s the same title as his NY Times bestseller). He will be the first to admit that three mentors helped him. Larry Chiang is Entrepreneur in Residence at Stanford University. If you read his hilariously awesome “What a Supermodel Can Teach a Stanford MBA” and “How to Get Man-Charm”, you will like his latest post: Barack Obama’s SXSLawn is South by South Lawn
By Larry Chiang
“South by South Lawn” is a sequel franchise started by my friend, junior senator from Illinois and past president of America, Pres. Barack Obama. #sxsL. You see he is HLS and Mr Obama knows TM law. Trademark law allows for you to change ONE letter and BOOM. A massive #sxsl HIT. While #44 won’t be attending even though hes invited… I hope the spirit of his first entrepreneurship effort lives on thru this party #3
