PHP Programmer

SUMMARY
We are looking for a broadly skilled and highly motivated individual with strong organizational skills to work as a PHP/MySQL Web programmer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience working with PHP technology and Web-based applications.  Must be willing to work on-site! ( Palo Alto , CA ).

RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Development of custom Web-based Applications with MySQL back end.
+ Cooperation with other Engineering team members (e.g. Project manager, Developers, QA)      
   in the production of a finished product.
+ Ability to work on projects without detailed instructions; taking the initiative with this job is important.
+ On-going maintenance of existing projects.

REQUIREMENTS
+ Excellent knowledge of PHP4 Object Oriented programming
+ Knowledge of PEAR libraries a plus
+ Knowledge of GD libraries a plus
+ Excellent knowledge of MySQL (Simple SELECT and JOIN statements will NOT be enough)
+ Best Practice: Coding, Documentation, Team/Group programming.
+ Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS (a big PLUS), XML, peer-to-peer lending.
+ Functional knowledge of UNIX (e.g. FreeBSD/Linux).
