Sales and Marketing Intern

SUMMARY
We are looking for a hard-working, aspiring sales and marketing professional interested in learning about online marketing services by actually doing it. You will be mentored in many aspects of working in a professional services agency. We reward talented professionals that get the job done. Our office is located in downtown Palo Alto . We are looking for a part- time commitment that may transition to full-time. This is a paid position.

RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Manage sales leads in sales pipeline and corresponding system
+ Submit and manage entries for speaking opportunities and event schedules.
+ Manage and document various marketing programs, plans and processes.
+ Create/update sales and marketing tools (Web site, PowerPoint, Word docs, Adobe Acrobat , PDFs).
+ Assist with various supporting administrative functions and office operations.
+ Manage and coordinate meetings – setting agendas, coordinating participants, forwarding meeting announcements, charting minutes, and managing follow-up action items.
+ Conduct market research and prepare presentations.

REQUIREMENTS:
+ Superior telephone and written communication skills
+ 3 years experience in marketing, account services, advertising or web services or college courses in the same
+ General business savvy
+ Proficiency in MS Office
+ Organized, smart, articulate, reliable
+ Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of complex issues in a fast-paced environment
+ A strong work ethic, a good sense of humor, and a positive winning attitude
