If and when Ether goes through with the transition to proof of stake, I don’t see any technological rationale or differential use case for Bitcoin. At that point, it seems to me, Bitcoin will be an older, inferior technology whose value is sustained only by sentiment and inertia.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

If Proof-of-Stake Ether becomes more valuable over time, staking becomes more exclusionary and centralized.<\/p>\n
