I’ve delved deep into the topic of mentee’s and mentors. This column assumes you’ve read<\/p>\n

– “How to get mentored by an industry leader you don’t know”<\/p>\n

Priming a pump involves pouring in water in to get water pumping. If you’ve never primed a pump… Imagine coming up to a well when you’re starved for water. You and your co-founders see a sign that says: “Pour this fresh water in”<\/p>\n

“It primes the pump”.<\/p>\n

Remember: You and your cofounders are parched. Do you drink the water? Or prime the pump [pumps do not just pump. They’re dry and you need to wet it down so there is WATER IN. WATER OUT] Do you drink the water? Or prime the pump??<\/p>\n

Good news: 95++ % of young founders sit talk and analyze.<\/p>\n

Good news: 90++% of founders squander the water and also do not prime the pump.<\/p>\n

How did I make millionaire while I was an undergrad? I primed the mentor mentee pump and executed the Firehose of advice that poured forth. You know my story. Here are other stories that you’ve seen but did not put the structure of MMPPI to (mentor mentions per press interview).<\/p>\n

There is a mentor at every career inflection point. Doc Hudson. A race car from the 50s, Doc Hudson, from Pixar movie CARS, beat Lightning McQueen in a race.<\/p>\n

THE IDEA FOR YOU AS A FIRST TIME FOUNDER ENTREPRENEUR ENGINEER IS TO CRAM A 40 or 50 YEAR OLD MAN BRAIN INSIDE YOUR 19 YEAR OLD HEAD.<\/p>\n
