GPA stands for &#8220;grade point average&#8221;. The more A&#8217;s you have, the higher your GPA is. FICO roughly works the same way. Except, instead of A&#8217;s, you get 1&#8217;s. 1s are &#8216;on-time&#8217; payment<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m in my unhappy place when I spell out credit facts to retards&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, seeking out a series of &#8220;ones&#8221; is actually tougher than I could ever imagine. First of all, this is a common criticism: &#8220;If it were as easy as you make it, more people would do it&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Argh!<\/p>\n<p>Well, getting 1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1, and 1 is 24 1&#8217;s.<br \/>\n24 on time payments of any dollar amount greater than $5.oo. But the execution is nearly impossible to get right (FML). Its tough for dumb people. I want you to read my FCRA based blog posts,<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/BMyLcDaWazU?version=3&amp;rel=1&amp;fs=1&amp;showsearch=0&amp;showinfo=1&amp;iv_load_policy=1&amp;wmode=transparent\" width=\"700\" height=\"424\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The one CREDIT truth is this<\/strong><\/em>: Annotating, assimilating and associating more 1\u2019s directly to your <strong><em>social security number, h-<\/em><\/strong>e-l-p-s.<\/p>\n<p>In short, very few people coming into and onto and on to the FICO credit grid focus on adding in positive credit data. Most MBAs wanna book a conference room and deliberate the merits of repealing the FCRA. We are not congressman. We don\u2019t change laws. We abide by the letter of the fair credit reporting act.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some steps before the direct correlation occurs. The positive credit data needs to correlate to your identity number. The positive credit, credit-code \u201c1\u2019s\u201d need to connect to your social security number.<\/p>\n<p>Ok, if you\u2019re a college student, non American or have a sugar daddy\u2026, you probably have a social security number void of positive information. A sugar parent figure is a person whose credit card and cash you mooch off of. Moochers who are added on as a \u201csupplemental card member\u201d doesn\u2019t build credit. Obviously.<\/p>\n<p>Obvious that mooched credit card may impress Aritzia sales associates, but according to #ExpTransFax, your credit reeks and stinks.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Step one in #BCSeutwm is to purchase 31 different USA postage stamps<\/strong><\/em> and place them in the upper right hand corner of a \u201cnumber 10\u2033 sized envelope. The stamp value to purchase are 49 cents. The USPS refers to these stamps as FOREVER stamps.<\/p>\n<p>As CEO of Duck9, I\u2019m also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.duck9.com\/entrepreneurship\/making-sense-of-entrepreneurship-class-and-startup-education-at-stanford\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stanford University\u2019s Founding EIR<\/a> (Entrepreneur in Residence).
