This is a message for single men that are tired of online dating<\/div>\n

I made a post 6 months ago about what I should text a woman that I was going on a date with<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The date was great. In fact we have spent almost every day since then together<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Now she\u2019s my girlfriend<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Guys if you\u2019re frustrated with online dating I have some advice<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Delete your dating apps and start going out every single day<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
You need to the gym, go to the grocery store, go work from cafes<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
You need to try a new group fitness class every other day, go to yoga and pilates, and join meetups for things you\u2019re interested in<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Be someone who is out and about<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Talk to strangers, make friendly conversation, add value, and don\u2019t be sketchy<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Find fun things happening in town that you can invite people to<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I guess that\u2019s pretty complicated so try this for now:<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Start saying yes to every single invitation that you get<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
What you want as a single guy- and this is key- is IRL surface area<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
You want to get out of your home and off your phone so that you improve your odds to meet someone special in real life<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
That\u2019s what I am calling your IRL surface area<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I knew I needed this IRL surface area because I do bad on dating apps<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
See I\u2019m not 6-feet tall and I don\u2019t have a chiseled jaw<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But I do feel comfortable talking to strangers<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I met my girlfriend at the pool on a hot summer Tuesday evening<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
My friend Katelyn invited me to come hang out with her and her friends<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I was busy with work and I didn\u2019t want to go but thank God I did<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I went to the pool that day because I wanted to say Yes to everything that would help me find a girlfriend<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Sitting at home doing work = No<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Going to Barton Springs Pool = Yes<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
She was sitting up on the hill reading a book. I mustered up the courage to go chat but that\u2019s another story<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
For now just go out. Every day.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Make it a challenge if you want: Go out every day for 10 days straight starting tomorrow <\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Try new restaurants, coffee shops, all the things I said above<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Just start talking to people and doing the things that the person you want to date might do too<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
You can find a girlfriend if you get more IRL surface area<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
