And by this September, he\u2019ll have five under his belt, all in just 18 months.<\/div>\n

It started last year with three Iowa stores:<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Spirit Lake Ford, Spirit Lake CDJR, and Estherville Chevy-GMC.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
But come June, he\u2019s securing a Nissan point, his first Japanese brand.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
After that, a second Chevy-GMC closes in September.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
And in his words, the growth strategy is simple:<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
Bet on overlooked brands.<\/div>\n
Expand across nameplates<\/div>\n
And lean into Iowa\u2019s franchise laws, which make OEM approvals easier to scale.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
To fuel the pace, Coleman also co-launched a private equity fund last fall\u2014<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
A move he says will power his goal of 40 rooftops in 10 years.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
His POV? \u201cThere’s always one person, in a family, that you look back on from any lineage and\u2026something that was built\u2014that made that decision. And I just decided that\u2026I wanted to be that guy. I wanted to be the guy that built something\u2026for future generations.\u201d<\/div>\n
