The Cold Card security break was because the coder, working in python, disabled the built-in random number generator thinking it wasn\u2019t needed because they were redirecting to a different random number generator, not realizing that the device itself, written in C, which the coder apparently didn\u2019t understand, called in the disabled built-in random number generator.<\/div>\n

And evidently they innovated in their code purely to change it from the open-source when a competitor came out using their open-source. <\/div>\n

The level of total carelessness and total lack of due diligence driven by utter pettiness here is baffling.<\/div>\n
