Glad to see someone who calls the credit game what it is.  Specifically, a couple of BS medical collections that were paid, and a CC that went to collections. Trying to fix credit to be in a better position to buy a new home that fits my wife and 5 kids man.  Plan to try and pay the CC of with a check paid to the CC company and then dispute the 9 on my report after they cash it.
