Feet of Snow For VCs to Ski

by Larry Chiang on March 15, 2020

Update: Vail Four Seasons is CLOSED

FEET OF SNOW HEADED TO TAHOE Forecasts are calling for multiple feet of snow and strong winds this weekend. Our mountain operations teams have been closely following the weather models and are confident this storm will affect our operations this weekend. Currently we know that we will not be running The Tram or High Camp facilities, Headwall, Siberia, Emigrant, Granite Chief, Solitude, Mountain Meadow, Belmont, or Bailey’s at Squaw Valley. We anticipate that the Funitel and the rest of our upper mountain lifts will also be affected, but we are planning on operating them as conditions allow. Alpine Meadow’s lifts are also likely to be affected.
