Freedom Toast is American French Toast and is not Texas Toast

by Larry Chiang on October 7, 2013

Larry Chiang has a Jedi in Business Administration (a JBA :-). He spoke at a Harvard Law School event and then Harvard Business HARBUS wrote: “What They Don’t Teach You at Stanford Business School“. He mentored athletes, spoke at a Stanford BASES event, did Q&A via text message and even taught a class on entrepreneurship called ENGR 145. He scandalously taught at a school he made fun of in his book.

Freedom Toast is a sequel to French Toast.

I love sequels. Ya can’t fail doing a sequel. Yes, you should do a sequel business to a business you did not start. Yes, your first startup should NOT be your first. It should be your second. What I mean is that any startup needs to leverage what already is out there. What they don’t teach you in business school is that 90% of the work is already done. You just need to assemble a team to do the last 10%.

There is a hashtag for this exact concept of leveraging sequels that leverages the 90%. It is #LC9090i

Snicker.

Laugh because its true. Laugh because you like the ‘inside baseball’ nature of my blog posts. Every other blog post out there is a stand-alone piece. My blog posts are like USC film scenes. I was mentored by my film school professor to get in late. Get out early.

Ok, here is some real world yummy food I will make for you at Austin Startup Week. I argue that 22 pieces of my Freedom Toast can get you (and maybe 3 other people I meet in Austin this week) on your path of 17 consecutive inflection points. Where are you going?! En route to being a $0.6mm millionaire

Yes,

Yes, there is a hashtag for that #ZeroPt6

Are u a feeee-eemale??! (in the creepiest tone I can muster)

My mentor taught me the “crasher to VIP maneuver”.

Google “crasher to VIP maneuver”.
