Basecamp for [Entrepreneurship’s] Everest is actually right below Mount Everest

by Larry Chiang on January 8, 2017

I’ve choked on the lies long enough. Can’t take it.
Okay, here’s my rant. When founders and CS professors say zero to one, they’re implying rags to riches. Let’s play a game. You name the impossible journey of starting PayPal or Palantir…, I’ll name all the prequel work that led up to scaling Mt Everest in a single leap.
Let me expand and explain concisely.

The start is so painful that majority of humans block it out of their mind #ZeroPt6

Get in your mind the signature business protocol #ZeroPt6. Because going 555,000 to 600k is actually pretty easy.

The book should be called “Stanford Law Review to One”. Zero implies starting at “0”, @TheTruthRosic. Peter did a sequel to @HarvLawR pic.twitter.com/XWVexr1UQI

Let me repeat… the start is so painful that majority of humans block it out of their mind.

Honing in on the entrepreneurship insight… The author of Zero to One, did not start from zero. Peter Thiel started from right below LEGENDARY. Peter Thiel started from right below a billion dollar unicorn startup.

Harvard @HarvLRev inside The 94305 is #GaGaGuaranteed to work. Its bc @StanfordLaw needs to review also. #peterThiel & 34 #cs183s

Peter Thiel started Stanford Law Review. You can’t take that success away. It was successful. Very successful. @HarvLRev did not get any royalty even though Stanford Law Review was a sequel to @HarvLRev

Peter Thiel was #GaGaGuaranteed to succeed

Basecamp right below Mt Everest makes climbing 20,000 feet easier. I recommend you put your Basecamp at 19999 feet by doing 34 hashtags from #cs183a to @cs183x

Larry Chiang (@LarryChiang)
#cs183a34z means there are 34 hashtags from #cs183a to @cs183x [ie #cs183fanfe. An actual 12G class for execs! twitter.com/unofficialatx/…

What’s your GaGaGuaranteed success!?

What’s your “Stanford Law Review”?
