The Abyss

by Larry Chiang on July 5, 2016

Baseball is like credit. In baseball, the catcher gives you feedback. Pitching into the abyss is hard.
This blog post is meant to give you early feedback on the most difficult thing: Starting up your FICO credit score.
Buster Posey sets up a target for you to aim toward.

Larry Chiang (@LarryChiang)
The popular advice about starting up a FICO credit score is nil, non existent, not in existence. #Duck9

The abyss is defined as not knowing what your aiming at at spitting off a cliff while you get the hibbie jibbies from looking down.

Your target is “11:11”.
Your goal is to get 4 ‘1’s in-a-row.
Whenever Buster Posey flashes one finger, think “I’m-going-to-get-a-“1″-associated-to-my-solo-social-security-number-linked-credit-card-by-paying-on-time”
