Access to Credit Bureau Data – Forecast, DIFFICULT

by Larry Chiang on September 26, 2016

By Larry Chiang
“Online, you’ve nothing but air.
At least on paper, you have a prayer.”
I’m resorting to poetry to distribute this truth. Access to personal credit report data is difficult. The system is set up to encourage dis-ease
Online access is mandated by law via AnnualCreditReport dot com. There are thousands of documented complaints. As a credit expert who has testified before Congress, I’m seeing a pattern of credit bureau behavior that attempts to keep consumers from accessing their Experian, Trans Union and Equifax.
Yet, Edith Ramirez FTC has been silent in my tweeted requests to investigate.
