5 Startup Events to Watch at Austin Startup Week

by Larry Chiang on October 9, 2013

Austin, Texas leverages its live music scene with a week-long showcase of startups. It kicks off the week with a battle of bands. The week is book-ended by two weekends of Austin City Limits music festival. This is the first year the festival has gone to a split weekend style, pattern replicating the two weekend format of Coachella in Palm Springs. Think of this week like a SXSW, but without having to purchase a badge. You do not have to be in attendance to learn and network with participants. Follow the action via the hashtags #ASW13 and #LCEEEF amongst many other sub hashtags.

Produced by ATX Tech Council, it’ll have video archive and bloggers summarizing. See the participant list and network with people free of charge via their networking page on Plancast
