| OUT FRONT: Every ball hit hard is hit ‘out front’. But in front of what? All the great hitter’s have a rear leg engine. The rear leg brings the barrel around. The don’t rotate the hips. I coined the phrase ‘missing frames’ years ago as I was showing the difference between a great swing and a poor swing. Missing frames are frames of video that are missing in poor swings. The missing frames are the frames showing ‘the barrel going rearward AS the rear leg turns forward’. The greats have those frames. The others do not. Bonds has them.
