By Larry Chiang Startups are not yet even baby businesses. A startup is a “loosely organized entity in search of a business model” (as per Steve Blank) with “scant resources” (as per Chuck Eesley).
Many startups are stillborn.
Many do not start a ‘baby business’ like Stanford alum student-athlete, Lisa Falzone.
Startups die a lot and I’m not down with that.
As per Tom Kosnik, Engr 145 is a class that’s meant to reduce infant company death. Well, I took Engineering 145 4x. It’s because I’m slow. But I’m focused.

Death, death be gone from the land of Larry Chiang!
[I’m calling Silicon Valley the land of #LarryChiang because on Quora, I was called the third institution of Silicon Valley]
I gathered up all 88 IQ points and pushed them to the middle of the table. As an athlete, it is not the 6′ 5″, 222 lb 5-tool athlete that wins at baseball all the time. What is the result of 88 IQ points properly levered, applied, and executed??!
Startup. Death. Solved.
Startup death’s solved by a Geoffrey Moore book I had to e-x-t-r-a-p-o-l-a-t-e. Darn that Geoffrey Moore for not having Crown Books-Bantam-Penguin hit P-U-B-L-I-S-H for the book that both you and I need:
“CROSSING THE CHASM FROM THE RIGHT”
Til 2 Oh, 1, 8.
That when I give my sxsw keynote
Cross the chasm from the RIGHT
