– The retweet promotes “The Cardinal Express,” a 2025 initiative by Stanford Football Alumni United offering San Francisco-based alumni a $99 package with round-trip charter bus from Marina district bars and lower-bowl game tickets for all home games.
– Launched amid Stanford Football’s attendance challenges—such as 15,194 fans at the August 30 opener vs. Hawai’i—this program targets urban alumni to boost support for the team’s 3-3 record as of late October.
– By October 29, packages remain available for remaining games, including the November 22 Big Game vs. Cal, reflecting ongoing alumni enthusiasm evidenced by the original post’s 130 likes and 12 replies.
Stanford Football Alumni United has developed a program (we’re calling it “The Cardinal Express”) to bus Alumni from San Francisco to all @StanfordFball home games this season.
With the purchase of a bus ticket you get:
-A seat on a fancy charter bus to/from the game
-Pick-up and Drop off in SF
-Lower-bowl ticket to the game
Our first home game is this Saturday vs Boston College. The bus is departing from Bus Stop Saloon in the Marina at 4pm and will return everyone back to SF after the game.
Get your tickets now using the link below and support our Stanford Football players! You can also hit up @tsinclair_ @CjKeller68 with any questions.
Go Stanford!
