Being a student allows you to build on top of a mentor. I blew my baseball student athlete opportunity by not listening to an assigned mentor, Augie Garrido. But, this emotional pain helped drive me to become a great mentee to Mark McCormack.

To me, this format of mentorship is second nature. I have a great dad that walks and talks exactly similarly to Augie Garrido YET I INITIALLY WAS TOO HEAD STRONG to accept mentorship. I mean who wears a Rolex and a full uni to practice. Practice.
