The number one question I get asked: “How do I know about the best parties at the SuperBowl, New York Fashion Week, Sundance and Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.”

Answer: Lets look at an example, south by southwest. It’s #SXSW.

Like any Hall of Fame athlete, there is a lot that goes on behind-the-scenes. Yup, I just compared myself to a QB.

It’s good! I don’t remember if I helped. I don’t remember if I stimulated the conversation to start, up a startup party. But it leads to my next point

#3 helping to engineer up a party

You can just guess who is hosting. For example, Kauffman foundation. They support StartX (formerly SSE Labs). They started small in 2011. Now they do more. Their startup space was nicely anchored on 6th Street.

Another example is #MeatUp8. It is annual and at Fogo. Hands down, it’s the best event for networking for entrepreneurs.

This leads to my next point…

“hearts after dark” party was a fundraiser for SF General.

Game 6 in Kansas City had an ESPN party at the Westin Hotel. Game 7 after party was at the Intercontinental. When partying is your part time job as an engineering major, you get good at it
