All ATS systems have “diversity” features, but these are the biggest offenders:
– Workday
– Greenhouse
– Gem
– Lever/Employ

One thing is true: because of the way recruiters use them, these are NOT just “resume filing cabinets” that “help companies stay compliant”.
They are most definitely used to approve/deny out candidates based off of “tells”:
– how “diverse” your name looks
– whether or not you went to an HBCU
– if your extracurriculars are “diverse”
– if youre a member of DEI orgs
– if you were recruited via an NGO/staffing firm that pushes DEI
– if you were at a networking event for “diverse talent”
– what city you’re in
– if your LinkedIn profile reveals your race/gender/etc
