Entourage cast members crashed Four Seasons in March to promote the June release date of “Entourage”.

For four months, a major studio has been promoting a film release! If you’re a tech founder wanting to avoid startup bankruptcy, look at how much sales effort artists put forth. Artists hate to sell. CS majors hate to promote. Artists, CS majors and most people hate to have to promote. Add having to promote at a conference you’re crashing and you see why most startups fail to launch. Most startup fail to network at parties. Most startups fail to crash industries and cross the chasm from the right.

Exert effort promoting your work.

At SXSW film festival, Warner Bros crashed it to debut a film trailer for Entourage, the movie based on the HBO show.
