Networking as a UIUC CS Student over TG, Xmas Break and Lantern / Bar Louie

by Larry Chiang on November 16, 2014

Larry Chiang’s 5th book, WTDTYASBS, launched at a Harvard Law School keynote, so he knows about grand openings (He even attends and promotes the ones he isn’t invited to also). As CEO of Duck9, he leads an army to help college student consumers get a FICO over 770. Post H.L.S. keynote, Harvard Business wrote: “What They Don’t Teach You at Stanford Business School” (his latest post: “Setting an intention for SXSWi“.

Guys it’s me Larry. I’m cranking out this blog post from my 650-283-8008 cellphone. I’m looking forward to helping you do legendary stuff.
Females, it’s me Larry Chiang. This relationship moves kinda fast so maybe we should start via mentorship in emails chiang9 @duck9 dot com. We don’t have to start with entrepreneurship. We can start with optimizing your FICO. Lol, we can “StackOverflow” your credit history with only positive credit data (and we can text in two years when you “trust” me). Lol I blogged as a female when I did gender reversal entrepreneurship exercises (in a blog called Women 2.0)

I will eat at Bar Louie 9:15
I might do an app at Rosebud’s. text me.

How do you optimize networking, get your return on Silicon Valley expenses & get five job offers as a SOPH. #sv2015 cc #SV2009

Over break, please spend 3 hours.

– Get a #LTMVTA (less than minimum viable twitter account)
– text me your goal
– if you’re a female, just analyze more and more before you email. After 2 years, just come say hi to me at a SiliconValley fundraiser. I’m 6’5″.
– start a blog on wordpress. Think MVBP (minimum viable blog post) #MVBP.

I’m not interested in theory. The theory behind this is more complex than explaining why we boil water for electric cars… That was a jab at Elon Musk! I want you to get a commercially viable hit like Elon did with Zip2 and It starts with legendary internship(s).

– the one thing you will set as a goal is to expand your GitHub / StackOverflow account BUT FOR THE REAL WORLD. Thus the justification for WORDPRESS. It acts like GitHub / StackOverflow in the real world that you will document what you read. In the future, you use wordpress to document work

It’s an after party for #SV2015 that lasts 3 days Re UIUC Silicon Valley Tour and Workshops…

So basically, uiuc’s Silicon Valley tour is January 11, 2015 to January 17. The afterparty is

January 17 in Napa CALIF (40 min from your Marriott hotel in SF
January 18, 2015 in SF. It’s with me at a Yoga conference
January 19. It’s an all day SF yoga workshop where you and I will plan pop up internship 2 and 2c. 2c is SXSW. 2b is another SF conference. Pop Up Internship #2 you will do remotely where you execute EUTWMPPM for a Las Vegas trade show at Cosmo hotel. It’s for CES and you will need to google EUTWMPPM.
You keep 100% of all revenue
You keep 100%.
Do you think there is a catch, there is not. Google pop up internship #1. Selling Braun branded power cords
