The other side of the coin is this: most of my friends that are in “big tech” are all actively searching for leadership positions at small/midsize startups.

And the last few bit of friends that are truly tired of it all have taken two paths:
VC or “sabbatical via moving to a cheap country for 6-12 months” |

So there is an inherent advantage from their location. These are known startup centers. So the selection bias is mostly from that. |
