Tracy Chou’s Open Data Tweet (and its implications for FICO score)

Transparency shines light on a lot of things. I work in credit where a municipal collection damages your FICO at minus 80. Yup a “9” on your credit report because of a bogus parking ticket will ding your credit score over 50 points. Transparency coupled with written disputes can help you and your FICO score.

This is business school level knowledge about credit scores that is technical and detailed in nature.

The NYPD business model is wrote a bogus ticket. Send to internal collections at 3-5x the original. Wait for payday at your mortgage closing
