My Way Versus Chris’ Way

by Larry Chiang on October 31, 2013

By Larry Chiang
I am so frustrated.
🙂

Many college students who are male won’t.
I’m happy to smile thru the frustration because my way exposes the Achilles heel of the credit industry.
My way of getting a free credit report is using paper mail
My way is to use the united states postal service (USPS)
My way involves the antiquated but highly effective tool of licking a prelicked USPS stamp. If this is your virgin time, the stamp goes in the upper left hand corner.
My was is not Chris’ way. He is a male, junior in college appx 21. Chris thinks getting a free credit report is easier online.
Chris believes tv ads
Chris is wrong
Chris thinks the Internet is advanced and using paper and postage mail is old and wrong
Chris makes the oh-so-common error of trying to use the Internet and common sense.
Credit, credit reports and credit score engineering make nearly zero common sense

Chris to me, Larry Chiang (@ at 650-283-8008): “Hey man know it’s late. Can I give you a buzz in the morning. I did it my way ans did it online. Only received a credit report from trans union
Worked at 33%. Experian and equifax was a no go. I’ll send them via mail in the am”

Here is a riddle:
How many times does a college football player get drafted for Football.

Once.

How many credit reports can you request per year?
One.

I do not make the rules*, I just abide by them (the FCRA )

*I did co-author a law. HR 627. The CARD Act.
