I listen and read and curate entrepreneurship advice. In my 10,000 articles, I have never heard: “Do proprietorships.” It is not an exaggeration when I say ‘never’.
I advocate them. I, Larry Chiang, like this legal vehicle. For students, I like the concept of a proprietorship. For practitioners of entrepreneurship, I think a proprietorship is a great way to practice. Doing a legal entity where a Silicon Valley law firm inks papers of incorporation = barrier to your practicing.
