Upgrade your existing card today
Here’s how your upgrade works:
No application required. To accept, click the button above by 3/31/2014.
Upon accepting this special offer, you may continue using your current card until
your new card arrives. Any unused points will be converted into an equivalent cash rewards balance.**
Your account number will change, so be sure to update your account number with
any merchants who automatically bill your account.
♦ To be eligible for this account conversion, your account must be open and in good standing (i.e., have charging privileges) when the conversion occurs. As a result of this upgrade, your account will have a revolving line, rather than a pre-set spending limit. This does not mean that all transactions will be approved. We will consider transactions for approval on an individual basis, including transactions in excess of the revolving line. Upon approval of your account upgrade, you will receive an Amendment that further describes your revolving line. Please read it carefully and keep it with your Credit Card Agreement.
With the exception of the terms described here and in the Amendment you receive, your current account terms and conditions, including any recent or future amendments, will apply to your new account. All account history (including existing balances and credits) will transfer to your new card. Continue to use your current account until your new card arrives. Please destroy your old card after receipt of your new card, and once you’ve activated your new card, be sure to provide your new account number to merchants such as internet providers for automatically billing your recurring monthly charges to your account.
* Earn base cash rewards of 1% of all new net purchases (qualifying purchases less credits, returns, and adjustments) charged to the card each billing cycle. You will earn total cash rewards of 2% (consisting of 1% bonus cash rewards and 1% base cash rewards) for net purchases at eligible grocery merchants and 3% (consisting of 2% bonus cash rewards and 1% base cash rewards) for net purchases at eligible gas merchants (the “Bonus Categories”), for the first $1,500 of combined net purchases made during each calendar quarter in the Bonus Categories. Eligible merchants and the associated merchant category codes (“MCC”) for the Bonus Categories are the following: (a) Grocery (MCC 5411-Grocery Stores/Supermarkets, 5422-Freezer/Meat Lockers, 5441-Candy/Nut/Confection Stores, 5451-Dairy Product Stores, 5462-Bakeries, and 5499-Misc. Food Stores– please note that this list does not include codes for “Discount Stores” or “Wholesale Clubs”); and (b) Gas (MCC 5541-Service Stations and 5542-Automated Fuel Dispensers). Purchases made at a merchant that does not process transactions under these codes will not qualify and you will not receive the bonus cash rewards. You will earn base cash rewards of 1% for net purchases in excess of $1,500 in each quarter in the Bonus Categories. Balance Transfers, Cash Advances, including purchases of money orders or other cash equivalents, fees, interest charges, fraudulent transactions and certain other charges do not earn cash rewards.
Cash rewards shall be issued for a U.S. dollar sum in the form of a statement credit, a check, or an electronic deposit to a Bank of America checking or savings account, or a contribution to a Merrill Lynch Cash Management Account®. Cash rewards redeemed into a checking or savings account with Bank of America, N.A. or a Merrill Lynch Cash Management Account will be 10% greater than the other types of cash rewards ($25 in cash rewards = $27.50 deposit).
Cash rewards may be requested on demand, or by registering for the automatic reward redemption method of choice, as described in more detail in the Program Rules. Other significant terms apply. Program subject to change. For more information, visit bankofamerica.com/cashrewards. Details accompany new account materials.

**The rewards balance on your account will convert from points to Cash Rewards at a value of 1% of the number of points at the time of conversion. For example, 5,000 rewards points = $50 Cash Rewards. Rewards balance conversion will occur within two weeks of account conversion.
