by Larry Chiang on September 8, 2016

By Larry Chiang

High credit limits, high FICO.
Low credit limits, high FICO’s
Low credit limits, low credit card credit-score.
High credit limits, low credit score
These quadrants matter inside the new rules of credit after me and Dick Durbin’s #HR627.

FICO’s over 800 Y-Axis.
a credit line under $500. X-axis. Quad 2 = “FICO’s over 800 with a credit line under $500”

Reality– low credit lines properly managed nets you a fico over 800. Yes, you are StackOverflowing the Experian, TransUnion & Equifax filters
